Paddles Trips Tours

Tonbridge to teapot island peer paddle

A trip down river on a beautiful section of the Medway from Tonbridge to teapot island. This section of the river also has the fun of several chutes along the way.

We will be looking to be on the water for 10am. Please bring snacks and drinks as along the way we will stop at Oak Wier. We will finish the trip at the teapot island/hampsted lane access point, which is ideally placed for post paddle refreshments.

Organising transport to Tonbridge and return shuttles etc. can be completed seperatly via what’s app group. If people with access to car and roof racks could assist those who may not have that option that would be great. It also always good to car share where possible.

To undertake chutes please make sure that you have a spray deck and helmet alongside usual paddle gear. Helmets are available at the club.

Please only sign up to led paddle if you want to be led. All other paddlers please sign up on the peer paddle section.

Disclaimer

All our trips are run by club members like you, and unless specifically described otherwise, they are peer paddles.

If you think that you would benefit from the support of a formal river leader or coach, please contact the trip organiser in advance - we can usually arrange something! Otherwise you should be confident that your own ability matches the trip as planned.

If your trip is being led by someone, a more experienced paddler, river leader, or a coach - it is your responsibility to mention any medical or other issues which may arise during the trip.
